Ben is the youngest of the Brookfield Archers, much loved by his doting grandmother Jill. Deciding to carve out a future away from farming he suffered a setback when his mental health deteriorated, culminating in a psychotic episode in 2022. He was determined to get back to university and after some time away he is back on track.

the archers is fit to informing through highlighting of their current affairs but also linking into the cost of living crisis. But also link to most relatable and real life scenarios. They show this by Mick living in his van. in a carpark.
- BBC radio 4 shows the archers.
- the target audience is 45+ ABC1 British females.
- the archers is aimed at women because, the characters in the archers are very strong and women can look up to them? and another way is creating dramatic which is stereotyped to be more appealing to women.
- audiences listen to the archers because of the social interaction they can get from things such as fan pages and social media. As for Helen in the storyline she raised £100k, and with this they all had cups of tea and then posted it on social media.
