  • the main points in the video are that Fortnite is a highly addictive game for anyone and any age, promotes people to violent. prince harry believes it should be banned and that it should be monitored for young teens. i kind of agree with parts of it that little kids shouldn't be able should play because they can become violent and always plays video games. and more people would stay at home and never actually see your friends in real life.

  •  the main points are that people too young are playing these games. and that people are getting sad thoughts and becoming depressed because they dont have an actual life and they just stay at home. i partly agree with this because i think kids are getting sadder and sadder each time. and morxe and more kids are playing games, so they could also become anti-social.

how is the video game industry regulated?

the video game industry is regulated by pegi and decided to give the games diffrent age ratings depending on the violence, the diffrent ages are pedi3, pegi7,pegi12,pegi16 and pegi18. they all contain diffrent violent and graphics wich will lead to the depending on the age of that game.for example fortnite has the pg rating of 12 but you have to kill people to win but because the graphics arnt that violent its a 12. example pegi7 is very diffrent to pegi18,whilepegi7 is only things that can possible scare young children.while pegi18 is when you are able to gamble ,kill, sex scenes  and other stuff that little kids shouldnt be seeing or playing.

convergence and synergy benefits the Fortnite brand by publishing there game with collaborations, for example Fortnite have collaborated with the Weeknd, Bruno mars, Travis Scott, lego. but also the game Fortnite can be played on diffrent platforms, which makes it easier to get a bigger audience. while the game is free and everyone is playing with there friends, Fortnite gets there money from the item shop.But to buy things you have to buy v-bucks. And when you have v-bucks you can buy diffrent skins, back bling and pickaxes etc. so while you play the game for free, the items in the shop cost money. and if they callaborate with famuos people who are trending will make people want to play the game.

Fortnite still make money and remain popular by brining famous

Fortnite targets all ages, but mostly ages 12-25.the game is appealing to everyone but mostly teenagers.but due to its popularity Fortnite has loads of collaborations for example. the Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Travis Scott and so many more.the games uses graffications  which is pies.this consists of personal identity, information, education, social interaction.

video games use technology to target audiences by using a vast selection of different technology, This technology appeals to the audience as whatever console you are on, you can play with your friends. This links into Fortnite as many Fortnite players play on different consoles for example, xbox, play station, Nintendo and phone.
